**Salary: 55,000 **plus bonus and benefits

**About CBCRA**

The Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) is a not-for-profit, industry-funded organization whose membership includes beverage brand owners and distributors. As a registered PRO (Producer Responsibility Organization) in Ontario, CBCRA is set to launch a supplemental collection system for the public space sector, which is integral to meeting recovery targets in the province. CBCRA is committed to reaching the government-mandated target of recovering 75% of beverage containers sold in Ontario by 2025 and 80% by 2030.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Implement and expand away-from-home beverage container recycling initiatives in Ontario municipalities, with a particular focus on municipal facilities
- Manage and coordinate site visits and required follow-ups with new and existing partners, work with partners to implement best practices and benchmarks
- Foster and develop relationships with municipal governments, recyclers, waste management companies/processors, commercial enterprises, and key stakeholders to create greater municipal and recycling program understandings and synergies
- Work with the Communication and Marketing team to research, develop and present educational recycling programming for municipal partners
- Proactive outreach to municipalities, building strong relationships
- Other duties as assigned.

**Position Requirements**:
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in related field (Business, HR, Environmental Sciences, Political Science, Project Management)
- At least 2+ years of professional experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work as a team and support others
- Exceptional relationship management
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Willingness to travel across Ontario as required

Desired
- Experience in Waste Management field
- Understanding of EPR policies
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $55,000.00 per year
