The Alzheimer Society of Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, Hamilton Halton (ASBHNHH) is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Human Resources Coordinator & Administrative Assistant. This position reports to the Manager of People & Culture and will support the Human Resources function of the organization. This position also provides some administrative support for Leadership Team Meetings and provides frontline support for Burlington Site Operations. This position may also assist with event planning on occasion.

This position is multi-faceted, fast paced, and requires independent work on projects. The HR & Administrative Coordinator must have the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. This position supports leadership and helps to build and strengthen relationships.

This position will be based in the Burlington office but may require occasional travel throughout the catchment areas. This position is a contract position for 12 months and is full-time (35 hours per week). Our standard business hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

**Specialized Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Human Resources principles, programs, legislation, and policies.
- Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple demands and competing priorities, with the flexibility and ability to switch readily between tasks as necessary.
- Must possess superior organizational, communication and written skills; and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build good working relationships with staff and leadership
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle is preferred.

**Experience & Educational Requirements**:

- Experience in Human Resources and/or Administration is an asset.
- Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources and/or Business Administration or another related field is required.
- Holding or currently working toward a CHRP designation is preferred.

**Salary**: $18.46-$27.69 per hour
