We are looking for an experienced and motivated Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations and reporting of the business. In addition to the hands-on financial functions the role also includes input on operational structure and efficiencies for the business as we continue to grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete the daily operations of the accounting department, maintaining financial records, overseeing internal controls, and producing financial reports
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, focusing on cost reduction, revenue enhancement and compliance with applicable rules and regulations
- Accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management
- Monitor cash flow and ensure accuracy of all financial information
- Analyze financial data and develop forecasts and budgets to support long-term strategic planning
- Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation an asset
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
