Come join our team in this exciting role of **Commercial Launch Specialist** The Commercial Launch Specialist will be responsible for the successful execution of Corteva herbicide, fungicide and biological innovation launches in the Canadian market. To do this, the Commercial Launch Specialist will lead a cross functional team to develop an effective launch plan via a launch framework process that spans two years pre, and post-launch. They will also be responsible supporting innovation launches locally with assigned sales districts in Alberta and northern Saskatchewan.
**What You'll Do**:
- Leading the development of effective launch plans using the launch process framework for new Corteva innovations.
- Developing and refining market, trend, price and competitive analyses in consultation with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales and Leadership.
- Leading Portfolio Launch Teams by developing annual objectives and plans, building agendas, facilitating meetings, driving participation, ensuring accountability, and communicating results to Leadership.
- Identify, quantify, and mitigate challenges that have the potential to limit the effectiveness and eventual results of innovation launches.
- Managing sales launch forecasting process and allocations for retail districts in consultation with Sales and Key Account Team.
- Supporting Sales Districts in Alberta and north Saskatchewan by acting as the key marketing contact within those districts.
- Collaborating with Agronomy, Marketing and Sales Teams to develop launch product training materials for various audiences.
- Supporting key sales launch activities such as tradeshows, customer events, tours, etc..
- Leading postmortems by capturing feedback to drive continuous improvement within Corteva launch processes.
- Leading the crop protection sample order process with Agronomy, and Sales across Canada.
- Managing the trial and research authorization processes.
- Collaborating with Marketing Team to ensure coordination across portfolios.
NOTE: This is a 12-18 month position with a May 1 start date

**Education**
- Minimum bachelor's degree in agriculture or marketing.
**Experience**
- 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related position.
**Additional info & preferences**
- This position will work across western Canada.
- Location is Canada, with a preference for Calgary Alberta
- Travel could be as much as 30% and will require overnight travel.
