**This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a **Procurement Professional. **you will be responsible for**:
- Local market experience preferred in medical capital equipment.
- Manage public RFP process for Enterprise Services Value Partnerships.
- Bring project management experience and strong customer relationship skills.
- Ability to listen proactively and become the trusted partner and voice to the customer.
- Be the focal point for identifying, comparing, and selecting of new sources.
- Develop new sources to meet ongoing and changing business requirements.
- Negotiate and track cost reduction strategies for assigned commodity.
- Develop and conduct benchmarking to evaluate supply base against competition.
- Align and implement globally driven business and supplier requirements.
- Lead proposals as procurement leader while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure project milestone completed based on policies (customer, government, Siemens Healthineers).
- Participate in customer meetings when necessary.
- Coordinate with global Enterprise Service team.
- Partner with the business as the Procurement Professional providing guidance and insight into the requirements mandates by the Procurement department while working collaboratively.

- Negotiating and managing Managed Equipment Service (MES) or vendor neutral projects, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) suppliers and respective contracts for product and service.
- Broad knowledge of the healthcare market as it related to enterprise service along with OEMs in North America.
- Ability to work with and influence cross functional partners and global Enterprise Service partners.
- Developing key strategic supplier partnerships and joint ventures that enable Siemens to be more competitive.
- Working globally to drive best practices with other countries.
- Ability to be pro-active and anticipate next steps while following Siemens Healthineers policies and procedures.
- Guide and educate internal stakeholders of the goals of the Procurement department.
- Strategize with the business on cost saving measures
**Required skills to have for the success of this role**
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. APICS/CPIM preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of successful experience in project procurement and successful demonstration of key responsibilities.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in related field.
- Financial experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with price and contractual agreement negotiations.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in supplier sourcing processes and supplier development.
