We're looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our dynamic team as a** French **Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner**.

**THE DETAILS**:
You'll be joining our Human Resource team at 70 Lexington Park, Winnipeg, MB full time, permanent basis with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity.
- In this role you will support our Retail Business Units across Canada and a few US locations to all levels of leadership.
- You will provide guidance and recommendations on all human resources related matters such as performance management, change management, full-cycle recruitment, and progressive discipline.
- Stay well-informed with HR best practices and employment law for both Canada and the US, providing innovative and new alternatives to processes, procedures, and initiatives.
- Lead talent acquisition initiatives with a focus on hiring the best fit.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and leaders through difficult conversations and situations.
- Taking a hands-on approach to the position, understanding that there will be tasks and responsibilities at all levels and not being afraid to “roll up your sleeves” to get the job done.
- Positive attitude with a solutions-based approach to challenges.
- Managing employee relations by identify the route cause of concerns and address employee relations issues, up to launching investigations in a timely manner.
- Focus on providing the best employee experience by building partnerships and taking a customer service orientated approach for each situation and ensuring proper documentation is captured.
- Partnering with other departments such as Payroll, Benefits, Health and Safety or Training and Development to explore developmental support for your groups.
- Support other key HR departmental initiatives including the maintaining data using or internal HRIS, developing and contributing to retention strategies, facilitating employee engagement surveys, and conducting compensation reviews.
- Work closely as a partner with Health and Safety as well as Benefits Supervisor to answer questions and participate in return-to-work initiatives.
- Working with a diverse team and acting as a designated back-up for other HR members
- Passionate about people with a desire to support individual and organizational success
- Strong belief in doing the right thing

**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE**:

- HR Management Degree, Certificate in HR Management, or equivalent education
- Minimum three (3) years' experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
- CPHR designation or working toward it considered an asset
- Excellent decision-making capabilities and strong interpersonal skills
- Fluent speaking and writing in French considered an asset
- Intermediate proficiency in working with MS Office programs
- Dependable, reliable, and accountable
- Strong organization skills and detail oriented
- Ability to prioritize daily/weekly/monthly schedules and cycles
- Hungry/Humble/SMART in your approach
- Fluent in both French and English
