As a leading and progressive import automotive dealer, Acura West is now looking to add an ambitious, Full Time, Parts Assistant to its expanding staff.

This position is focused on upholding and promoting the Acura values and brand standards to create an unparalleled customer experience in the parts department.

**General Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Deliver parts to wholesale customers throughout South Western Ontario.
- Organize orders for shipping or delivery purposes, or for daily pickup
- Assist Parts Manager in the effective daily operation of the parts department to maximize sales, profits and customer service
- Help to stock all new parts on shelves and maintain parts properly and organized at all times
- Provide good communication and interaction within departments.
- Ensure professional, timely communication to all customers
- Maintain and enforce company policies and procedures
- Efficiently help customers choose parts and provide internal and external customers (retail and shop) with high quality services
- Take orders for parts by telephone, technician counter, retail counter and wholesale accounts
- Adaptable to work some weekend shifts (Sat 8-4) as scheduled

**Skills**:

- **Physically able to handle parts with weights up to 75lbs**:

- Knowledge of automotive parts would be an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Organized and an attention to detail with the ability to document customer needs.
