Whitby, Canada The Participation House Project (Durham Region) Full time

The Participation House Project (Durham Region) is seeking to hire **youth **for positions funded through Canada Summer Jobs programs for **summer employment**.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**
- maintenance and clean-up of existing paper and electronic files and records
- migrating records to electronic systems, and ensuring proper document and record naming
- transferring of records to off-site storage and retrieval
- arranging for confidential destruction of records
- reviewing and analyzing existing practices identifying gaps and making improvements in collaboration with other office personnel
- occasional lifting and moving files and boxes.
- provision of information and assistance to staff
- support for other departments for day-to-day business needs including front desk coverage

**Requirements**:

- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate
- Certificate of Full COVID-19 Vaccination
- Certification of freedom form Hep B, TB and other communicable diseases
- Criminal Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Search in good standing
- Must be between 18 and 30 years old
- Valid SIN
- Permanent resident eligible to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitby, ON L1N 0J2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
