**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Vice President, Airport Operations, the Director of Operational Delivery is responsible for the strategic planning and leadership of the Operational Delivery team. This role oversees the daily operations of both above-the-wing (ATW) and below-the-wing (BTW) airport operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities, and fostering relationships within the airport community to advance operational initiatives that support Flair's objectives.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Director, Operational Delivery **include:

- Drive operational excellence of third-party airport service providers by managing, developing, and leading the Operational Delivery team, which includes Senior Managers and Regional Managers of Airport Operations. Ensure providers meet operational targets.
- Establish structured processes for maintaining operational oversight of third-party providers through the use of reporting tools. Identify key opportunities using trending data, and implement consistent changes that enhance performance.
- Provide leadership during airport station expansions, third-party service provider start-ups, shutdowns, and transitions. Ensure all new or returning service providers are aligned with Flair's standards and operational processes, with clear resource allocation and timely execution in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Enhance operational efficiency by implementing company initiatives and driving the delivery team to improve on-time performance (OTP) and turn times. Support new initiatives through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and execution.
- Increase revenue collection by optimizing ancillary processes through the delivery team and collaborating with Flair's commercial teams to improve frontline engagement and product structure.
- Manage financial and budgetary responsibilities for airport operations. Conduct continuous cost reviews and develop strategies for cost reduction. Lead procurement and contract negotiations for airports and ground services.
- Represent Flair at airport committees and in the community, advancing company initiatives while fostering collaboration and upholding Flair’s values.
- Achieve Missing Baggage Ratio targets by overseeing third-party service providers. Collaborate with Baggage Service stakeholders to address trending issues and implement corrective action plans to enhance customer experience.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of ten (10) years of airline operational management experience.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through progressive leadership roles.
- Expertise in navigating complex, lean business environments, with demonstrated success in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all managerial levels, both internally and externally.
- Comprehensive experience with air safety legislation and CATSA regulatory requirements, including oversight of audit programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- In-depth knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), with a proven ability to ensure compliance in complex operational environments.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the building and maintaining of effective relationships across diverse internal and external teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to assess priorities, solve complex problems, and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to motivate teams and foster a cooperative, results-oriented working environment.
