Group Benefits Sales Representative

What can you expect?

This person will join a team of 5 outstanding sales professionals. The Sales Representative is responsible for providing support to Brokers and Clients in our Group Benefits Division for a specific block of business. This person will manage a block of business for renewals and have a selling target. The objective is to support and assist the Sales Representatives with business development and retention through maintaining relationships, responding to inquiries and managing issues.

**We will count on you to**:
Responsible to achieve quarterly sales targets
Proactively manage service and retention of in force block of business
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the plan advisors attached to your block of business
Understand Victor client management processes, systems, underwriting guidelines, etc.
Manage client and/or broker issues proactively
Manage plan amendment process
Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and competition

**What you need to have**:
Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related field
3 or more years of group insurance account management experience (preferably group benefits)
Strong technical skills
Superior oral, written and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 10 specifically Excel

**What makes you stand out**:
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
Life license is an asset and will be required within the first 12 months of employment
Proven track record in supporting a large block clients in the small to mid-size market.
