**This opportunity**:
**We are currently looking to fill a Permanent, Full-Time Community Support Leader role with our Attendant Services Outreach Program
- at 13311 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON.**

Starting wage to be announced.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership in the efficient and safe delivery of CSS services to clients with disabilities.
- 50% of the work week will be spent providing service to Clients within the community.
- Lead a group of attendants in helping clients with the non-medical activities of daily living.
- Assist the Community Support Supervisor in ensuring that schedules are developed according to the client’s care plan and service contract.
- Assist in the renewal and management of client’s care plan and service contracts.
- Ensure the orientation, continuous goal setting, problem solving and service planning with clients.
- Provide orientation and on the job training to all newly hired attendants and provide ongoing leadership and coaching to all attendants.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
- Display diplomacy with clients, attendants, other service centers and agencies
- Manage change in a constructive and positive fashion
- Service delivery resolution and handle conflict resolution
- Participate in the On-Call rotation.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience working with people with physical disabilities, experience/knowledge/understanding of Independent Living or Consumer based care.
- Knowledge of and abilities in transferring, lifting, bowel and bladder routines and other attendant care duties
- Physical Demands Self Analysis Required upon hire
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible and regularly scheduled hours
- **Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation**
