**About the Role**

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Build, develop, and nurture strong relationships with clients.
- Serve as clients' primary point of contact, understanding their needs and objectives and ensuring the firm delivers results aligned with these.
- Exhibit proactive, direct and effective communication with clients.
- Manage the execution of consulting projects from initiation to completion, with a client-centered approach that ensures high-quality deliverables by agreed-upon deadlines.
- Work well independently and collaboratively with other consultants to execute strategy and organizational effectiveness projects. This includes:

- Lead strategic planning processes, including stakeholder interviews, SWOT or PEST analyses, and develop mission and vision statements, strategy maps and balanced scorecards.
- Analyze and organize primary and secondary data into key strategic and operational areas.
- Define KPIs and measurable deliverables to ground strategies.
- Create implementation roadmaps for achieving impact.
- Develop tools (frameworks, templates, guides) for client organizations to implement strategies.
- Assemble content into readable and easy-to-navigate strategic documents.
- Write reports and create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
- Present content and facilitate strategy sessions for clients on strategy and organizational effectiveness topics.
- Support the creation of proposals for strategy and organizational effectiveness projects.
- Conduct research into strategy and organizational effectiveness methodology leading practices that center on equity.

**About You**

You have specific knowledge of anti-Black racism and/or anti-Indigenous racism and have worked directly with individuals from one or both of these communities.

Finally, you are experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously and are flexible and able to adapt to a dynamic, project-based work environment that includes work-from-home and in-person engagements.

**Specific skills and qualifications for this role**:

- A postgraduate degree or an undergraduate degree complemented with equivalent work experience or training.
- Minimum of three years experience in developing strategies related to organizational strategy and organizational development.
- Deep familiarity with concepts of community development and anti-oppression/equity, particularly in community-based organizational contexts.
- Demonstrated understanding of specific approaches to strategy development and organizational development within and across organizations at a system level and using participatory, co-design approaches with client organizations.
- Understanding of social equity, health equity, participatory design processes, community consultations, community governance and system-level transformation.
- Experience in conducting literature reviews and environmental scans.
- Skilled communicator with excellent writing skills and a track record of translating research findings into various mediums beyond conventional research reports.
- Experience in facilitating workshops or training sessions.
