Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Food Program Facilitator to join our team. As a Community Food Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for continuing various food box programs, the community cupboard, and coordinating and implementing food programs within the community. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to promoting food security and healthy eating habits.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate and oversee community food programs, including meal prepping, food preservation, nutrition, and other health presentations
- Collaborate with local organizations, businesses, and volunteers to ensure the variety and success of food programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members in need of food assistance
- Assist with the procurement, storage, and distribution of food items
- Monitor program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, including participant data and program outcomes
- Provide support and guidance to program participants as needed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in social work, nutrition, public health, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working in community outreach or social services
- Strong facilitation skills with the ability to develop and implement food programs
- Knowledge of local resources and services related to food assistance programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a diverse team
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Location**:
