We are hiring a **WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST** to join our growing team Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will oversee all aspects of Corporate Accounts. This an awesome opportunity for someone who is proactive, solution-orientated, and always looking for opportunities to improve and enhance processes.
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse specific to Corporate Accounts. This includes but is not limited to: shipping, receiving, general material handling, customs paperwork, special reporting, planning and executing workload based on order requirements and inventory management.
- Ensure proper QC checks on inbound foreign shipment.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to while promoting a positive Safety culture.
- On-going process improvement using KAIZEN and LEAN methodology.
- Ensure all inbound / outbound materials are received/ shipped and accurately recorded in ERP (SysPro).
- Ensure all finished goods are shipped in a timely, cost effective manner.
- Actively manage high levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized and free of hazards before, during and after each shift (5S).
- Filling out reports and other relevant documentation and submitting to appropriate parties.
- Using Corporate portals to communicate shipments and pick up request.
- Execute planning requirements on a daily and weekly basis in order to maintain uninterrupted workflow and accuracy.
- Assist with the onboarding training of new employees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
**WHAT YOU HAVE**:
- 3-5 years of work experience in a fast-paced material handling/ shipping/ receiving/ logistics environment.
- Previous Experience dealing with Customs and documentation required for shipping to the US.
- Previous experience dealing with Corporate Accounts.
- Knowledge of OHSA safety regulations; you are a safety champion.
- Previous Forklift training would be an asset.
- Experience with continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) manufacturing concepts is a strong asset.
- You are proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite of products (particularly Outlook & Excel).
- Previous experience using RF guns would be an asset.
- You are able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
- You are legally able to work in Canada.
