Job Description

At Wesdome Gold Mines, we are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team. As a key member of the Warehouse team, you will play a strategic role in improving Warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Foster a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to site safety guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and manage the parts counter efficiently.
  • Ensure seamless shipping and receiving processes, including inventory management, stocking shelves, and conducting regular cycle counts.
  • Assist with offloading trucks and preparing shipping documents for both internal and external use.
  • Assemble containers, pack goods for shipping, and attach packing slips accurately.
  • Direct delivery trucks to designated areas and help drivers unload goods as needed.
  • Unpack received goods into appropriate storage areas, inspect items, and record shipments according to company procedures.
  • Investigate lost shipments and document damaged or returned items correctly.
  • Maintain open communication with suppliers and vendors to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized workspace by keeping shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and shipping areas tidy.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in warehousing, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills, with proficiency in working within an inventory control system.
  • Bonus points for experience with SAP Systems.
  • Physical fitness to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and operate warehouse equipment safely.
Working Conditions:
  • A 14/14 day shift schedule on-site at ERM, consisting of 12-hour day shifts.
  • Travel required based on business needs.
