About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to join our team at Parts Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Management
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and inventory control.
    • Operate computerized inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Shipping and Receiving
    • Pick orders efficiently and accurately according to department guidelines.
    • Verify incoming shipments against waybills and invoices using a Receiving Worksheet.
    • Route shipments to proper bin locations and wrap bulk skids as needed.
  • Warehousing Operations
    • Perform stock checks and assist in locating lost product for other departments.
    • Monitor bin and bulk locations for accuracy and verify inventory discrepancies according to procedure.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years' experience in a warehouse setting preferred but not required.
  • Certifications: First Aid, WHMIS, and Forklift Operator certification an asset but training can be arranged.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. Repetitive bending, crouching, walking, stair climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 60lbs are also required.
