**Overview**:
Under the direct report of the Manager, Communications and French Language Services, act as principal project coordinator for a wide range of communications and French Language Services projects, including internal communications, social media, and French training.

**Responsibilities**:
**Communications and Project Management**:

- Coordinate communications projects
- Write, edit and curate the lineup of the weekly newsletter, which goes out to employees and is published to the internal website
- Plan, write and translate content for all social media platforms
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
- Delegate project tasks based on staff members’ individual portfolios, and track project performance
- Support corporate events portfolio

**French Language Services Office and Translation Services**
- Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive range of French Language training programs for healthcare professionals
- Occasionally take care of the translation request management system (receipt of requests and allocation to freelancers, quality controls, delivery of translations, etc.)
- Support the development of all documents and tools to facilitate the provision of services in French
- Provide support to the French Language Services committee

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
- Three to five years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Experience with and a proven understanding of internal/organizational communications.
- Strong writing, copy-editing and proofreading skills in French and English.
- Demonstrated capacity to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience and ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced situations.
- Experience with social media, digital content-management tools and content-curating tools.
- Experience in developing and implementing communication plans.
- Fluency in both official languages. Experience in event management, including hybrid and digital events, is an asset.
- Knowledge of communications in a healthcare setting is an asset.
