YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS

As a coordinator within the Product Performance and Quality (PPQ) team and relevant to the PPQ team leader, your mandate will be to structure the data analysis to establish a global vision on the priority issues and ensure safety of the products and users. You will also need to put in place a structure that facilitates follow-up and escalation of issues to optimize problem resolution time. By gathering and synthesizing the available information, your mandate will be to organize and lead monthly product safety governance with the directors in charge for each of our product lines.
You will also be responsible for:
Measure the potential magnitude of safety issues by reviewing available data
Ensure follow-up and problem solving of priority issues
Mobilize and influence the various engineering departments in regards to product safety matters
Plan, structure and follow up on the inspection of faulty parts or vehicles when required
Communicate the right level of information during safety sub-committee meetings to facilitate decision-taking
Present status of the various emerging issue during safety monthly governance with the engineering directors and the manager for the legal department
Interpret different data sources to give a representative level of safety risks in our dealer network using different tools such as SQL, Excel, Reliasoft Weibull++, Power BI
Lead and achieve follow up on monitoring task determined during the monthly safety governance
Participate in the creation of network bulletins and cost estimate

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Excellent communication skills in a clear and concise manner
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and interpret data
Great rigor in the execution and structure of the work, good team spirit
Strong interest in product safety
Work experience in the technical field of motorized consumer products is an asset
Experience in customer service and/or warranty is an asset
A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is an asset
Essential bilingualism both written and spoken (French/English)
