**Junior School Principal - September 2023**

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor of Education and a British Columbia Teacher’s Certification or equivalent (required)
- 5+ years of school-based leadership experience (Principal, Vice Principal or Director)
- 10+ years of teaching experience in a K-Grade 12 classroom
- A Master’s Degree in Education
- Demonstrated alignment with Aberdeen Hall’s Mission and Vision and Strategic Plan
- Possess natural leadership skills with a high level of initiative, energy and commitment
- Proactive and innovative approach to solving problems
- A deep understanding of, and passion for, student well-being, social emotional learning, and academic success
- A team player who can relate well to colleagues, and inspire students and other adults in our community
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and administrative skills
- A track record of successful team leadership and management.

**Salary**: From $120,000.00 per year
