The Wellness Institute Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic offering a wide range of rehabilitation and medical services. Our team includes medical doctors, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, social work, kinesiology, respiratory therapy, and dietetics.

Located at Seven Oaks General Hospital campus, our 80,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility serves as a physical headquarter for disease prevention, injury rehabilitation and chronic disease treatment. We are a venue for the delivery of medically informed exercise, diet and other lifestyle medicine interventions.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Psychological assessment, evaluation and treatment of psychological issues related to chronic injury, chronic pain, prolonged disability and underemployment
- Provide psychological services to individuals on a fee-for-service basis
- Supportive psychological intervention focusing on health and wellness, active recovery, return to work and restoration of function
- Effective and timely report generation
- Psychological consultation to other health professionals including Master of Social Work performing psychology services
- Psychological consultation and collaboration with the multi-disciplinary Work Injury Management Team
- Close communication and working relationship with third party payers
- Support and develop an active network of referral sources

**Qualifications**:

- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a CPA accredited training program
- Completion of a CPA accredited Internship / Residency.
- Eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist by the Psychological Association of Manitoba
- Specialized education, training and experience with administration and interpretation of evidence-based psychological tests and measures related to pain, injury and disability.
- Specialized education, training and experience with evidence-based psychological interventions for chronic pain and injury
- Clinical experience in the areas of disability and rehabilitation would be an asset.
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment criminal records, vulnerable persons and child abuse registry checks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and inter-professional teamwork skills

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- This is a part-time contract position based on a fee-for-service practice.
