Commencing September 3, 2024 for a 3-year term secondment, the Supervisor of Well-Becoming will function as a member of the
Student Support Services Leadership Team and report to the Director of Inclusion and Clinical Services. The Supervisor’s
assignment will include responsibility for support of student, school, and divisional needs such as: supporting student and staff
learning, student transition planning (K-12+), crisis intervention, and student assessments.
Specific responsibilities include:

- Divisional and school community well-being and well-becoming initiatives
- Divisional and school community mental health promotion and literacy
- Divisional and school community implementation of principles and programming for positive behavior support
- Leadership and management relating to clinical service delivery, including but not limited to: scheduling, file management,
- reporting, records management, conflict resolution, and hiring, supervision and professional development of staff- Specific aspects of supervision of School Psychologists and assigned Divisional Itinerant staff:
- Assessment of clinical skills of permanently certified clinicians to complete performance appraisals
- Assessment of clinical skills of provisionally certified clinicians to identify requirements for permanent certification
- Mentorship of new clinicians
- Supervision and assessment of itinerant staff as assigned
- Representing the Louis Riel School Division on inter-sectoral committees for community initiatives whose focus is the

education of children and youth.
**REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in a school psychology program or clinical psychology program
- Permanent Manitoba School Clinician Certification (School Psychologist)
- Knowledge of provincial legislation and regulations pertaining to clinical services and public education
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience working in public school environments
- Demonstrated effective leadership of teams
- Successful experience with planning for systems improvement
- Successful experience in mentoring new clinicians
- Successful organization of professional development activities
- Effective assessment and programming skills (academic and behavioural) experienced in a variety of educational settings
- Exemplary communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
