As Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada continues to accelerate the growth of our crop nutrition business, the Product Manager, Crop Nutrition Canada will drive our Soil and Crop Health Canada strategy and growth with/through our field sales organization.

The Product Manager, Crop Nutrition Canada will be responsible to work closely with Loveland Products Management Team, Strategic Suppliers, Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada Management, Agronomic Innovation, Proprietary Rep’s and others to develop a robust product management plan, manage the portfolio lifecycle, drive commercialization of new products, and drive long term Crop Nutrition sales growth within the Canada Region.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with Nutrien Ag Solutions Retail, UAP Wholesale and Loveland Products colleagues as well as Strategic Suppliers to drive soil health, crop health, and overall Crop Nutrition business growth
- Provides leadership, direction, and coaching to Proprietary Reps and the retail organization in the development, implementation, and execution of Loveland Products Nutritional brands and other Strategic Supplier Crop Nutrition sales plans to assist them in meeting performance targets and ensure alignment with business strategy
- In conjunction with Regional and Divisional management teams, assist to ensure successful execution of Loveland Products Nutritional and Strategic Supplier Crop Nutrition growth plans and optimize support to the retail organization
- Accountable for the product lifecycle management which includes the product development and project management of the process from formulation through to commercialization and subsequent brand consolidation
- Collaborate and provide direction to the Agronomic Innovation team to ensure trials and data collection align to product management priorities
- Accountable for the product management of the portfolio which includes forecasting and pricing through to supply chain and manufacturing
- Responsible to develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the Loveland Products Nutritional business and Strategic Suppliers. Including product pricing, positioning, marketing plans, campaigns, sales support materials, co-promotion plans, programs, and allocation management
- Accountable for the creation of brand support collateral, promotional support campaigns, and multi-channel marketing touch points with the Loveland Products Marketing team and Strategic Suppliers
- Responsible for staying abreast of new technologies, customer needs and regulatory changes within the product line for customers and retails
- Accountable for the provision of real time information regarding saleable inventory, competitive pricing/programs, and reporting of sales vs objectives
- Provides consistent market intel to Region and Division Management Teams
- Responsible for, understand and adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Precautions

**Required Education and Experience**:

- 8 or more years’ experience in sales or marketing management in Agriculture related field
- Strong sales ability with a proven track record of success
- University degree in Agriculture or Commerce/Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing and business
- Internal applicants may be considered in lieu of meeting minimum education and/or experience requirements
