Dear Grain is seeking a Full-time Junior Pastry Chef with baking experience to join our bakery.
- We are looking for someone caring, passionate, and dynamic who is interested in committing themselves to the craft of making sourdough pastries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Scaling Recipes
- Mixing and portioning batters, doughs, cookies, scones, loaf cakes etc
- Baking pastries, packaging wholesale orders
- Practice food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Reports to Kitchen Leader

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high volume production kitchen/food business
- Minimum 1 year experience in pastry production or Baking/Pastry
- Education from a recognized College/University (preferred)
- Possess basic cooking and knife handling skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken English
- Note that this position does not involve cake decorating
