The Victoria Club is a private social club located in Regina that offers a wide range of activities and amenities for its members from bowling to pool and shuffleboard. At the Victoria Club, we pride ourselves on 100 years of offering our members a comfortable and inclusive environment.

We are searching for a self-motivated club manager who can help our organization to grow. The club manager should be able to network and build lasting, professional relationships with clients, while constantly looking for ways to increase the monthly sign-ups. The club manager’s responsibilities include working with a broad client base and a capable team of staff. You should be able to work under pressure and answer a number of questions from staff and club members in a polite manner.

**Club Manager Responsibilities**:

- Managing the business aspects of the club, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and ordering supplies as needed, managing budgets and setting goals.
- Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure the bar is well staffed during peak hours.
- Providing supervision and training to all new and existing staff.
- Dealing promptly with all grievances from both staff and club members.
- Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
- Ensuring licenses are updated and in line with current legislation.
- Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons.
- Planning and taking part in promotional events.
- Ensure excellent direction in the standards and practices of service.
- Improving the club’s marketing strategy and coming up with ways to increase revenue.
- Reporting monthly to the Board of Directors.

**Club Manager Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Serving It Right Certificate.
- Experience in management or a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of business management and accounting principles.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and professional.
- Willingness to work during peak hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Effectively delegate responsibilities and maximize resources.
- Preferably 1 - 2 years’ management experience.
- Working knowledge of POS systems.
- Criminal Record Check

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
