**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, prepare and analyze quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Drive the preparation of other continuous disclosure documents (MD&A, Annual Information Form, AGM materials, ESG, among others)
- Oversee the preparation of internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Lead the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify and assess opportunities that will improve financial effectiveness.
- Streamline & optimize FP&A operations, incorporating best practices to bring clarity to the organization.
- Enhance our system to ensure relevant stakeholders have easy access to key financial data.
- Develop and maintain benchmarking/comparable analyses for decision-making.
- Plan, organize, and direct extended accounting team and activities to meet high standards and tight deadlines.
- Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for financial performance to senior management.
- Lead communications and coordination with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Carry out ad hoc financial analysis, reports and projects as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence and advise senior leadership with a data-driven approach.
- Extensive financial modeling experience, including sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios.
- Experience working in or for a public company.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Travel to our downtown Vancouver and Delta Greenhouse is required on a regular basis. Our Downtown site will be a main hub for your hybrid work set-up, with semi-regular visits to the Delta site expected in this role.
