**OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR (CONTRACT)**

CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a temporary full-time Office Administrator to support our gypsum plant, based in Hagersville, Ontario. This is a contract position for a maternity leave coverage.

Additional responsibilities of the Office Administrator (Contract) include:

- Providing exceptional customer service to greet and assist guests when they arrive at the office.
- Checking and distributing mail packages, documents and various correspondence that are delivered to the office.
- Managing security access for employees.
- Issuing employee vehicle parking passes and investigating parking issues.
- Assisting with orientations for new hires, medical monitoring, safety glasses administration and electronic communications.
- Running training reports for departments and communicating job postings to the plant.
- Responsible for replenishing and ordering coffee, employee sales, and PPE as needed.
- Compiling routine reports using data from various sources including the weekly condition letter, raw material receipts, bill of materials updates, inventory check, and other duties.
- Assisting with the coordination of office initiatives and events.
- Acting as the liaison for the various departments within the Hagersville plant.
- Assisting in event planning activity (employee engagement activities, set up hotel room blocks, order supplies needed, etc.)
- General office duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Office Administration diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience.
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office 365 to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
- Excellent communications in a professional and courteous manner with dealing with customers/ visitors and all levels of the organization.
- Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Good technical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and self-management skills with the ability to multi-task and adjust to changing business priorities.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

**Additional Information**:

- Hours of work
- Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 3:30PM
- This position is on-site at the Hagersville location and is not a remote or hybrid role.
