This is the prefect position for a university student or someone looking for casual part time work. Not only do you get to work in one of the most fast passed and fun environments in retail, you also get the bonus option of signing up for benefits that do not garnish your wages, even in this part time position.

Blackstar has been open for over 3 years in this location. We are looking for someone who can budtend on weekends Friday to Sunday with full availability, with options for coverage in the week if necessary. Pay is 17/hr. 15-25 hours per week.

CANSELL CERTIFICATE & POLICE BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED

Previous cannabis retail experience preferred but not necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of different strains of marijuana, edibles, concentrates, and paraphernalia
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Process transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system
- Upsell products to customers to increase sales
- Verify customers' age and identification to ensure compliance with legal regulations
- Receive shipments from OCS

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership skills to guide and support team members
- Proficient in computer operations for POS transactions and inventory management
- Ability to lift heavy objects when restocking inventory up to 50 lbs
- Skilled in upselling techniques to promote additional products
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory reconciliation

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
