**FOOD MANUFACTURING - Supply Chain Specialist**

**Who we are**:
Agrocrop is opening a new facility and is looking for a seasoned Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the supply chain process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products to customers. They will work closely with various departments such as procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales to optimize the supply chain and ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

At Agrocrop Foods, we solve Private Label problems.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role will join a growing team and help build up a new division.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**The Role**:

- Manage the procurement process for materials, specifically sourcing them from pre[1]approved suppliers.
- Analyze inventory levels and demand forecasts to develop inventory management strategies and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Monitor and optimize supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and report on metrics to management.
- Act as liaison between suppliers and R&D team to resolve procurement related problems.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions. - Resolve invoices issues.
- Participate in Cycle counting and periodically physical inventories activities.
- Create work orders and schedule the start and due date based on materials availability.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to streamline processes and improve collaboration across departments.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including arranging shipments, tracking deliveries, and managing warehouse operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management to continuously improve processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in supply chain management or logistics, such as APICS certification or CSCP designation would be considered an asset.
- Proven experience working in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, inventory management software, and MS Excel (advanced).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Relevant manufacturing experience in Supply Chain
- FOOD Manufacturing is a must
- 3 - 5 years’ experience within a procurement funtion
- Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational abilities
- Supply Chain Certifications are an asset
