Supply Chain Manager
North Toronto Paints is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join the team. We have been a supplier of coatings since 1994, providing custom solutions to difficult paint projects and perfecting our craft. We are looking for someone with experience supply chain management painting experience is a bonus. As a Supply Chain Manager for North Toronto Paints, you’ll have everything you need to accelerate your career forward.
The primary responsibility of our Supply Chain manager is to lead the sales and operations planning to align the business’s functions with the supply and demand as well as create a comprehensive overview of the business and it’s logistics for the business owner. The supply chain manager will work with the owner and team members and make sure everything runs smoothly
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales and operations planning (S&OP) to align the company’s diverse functions while balancing supply and demand to give owner a comprehensive overview of the business
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as cost, lead times, availability of stock, and delivery schedules
- Support inventory management activities such as cycle counts and stock accuracy reporting
- Manage logistics for pickups and deliveries of all shipments
- Collaborates with procurement, production, and sales to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain
- Develops and maintains detailed inventories of raw materials, intermediate and finished products
- Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes
Job Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in logistics, or supply chain management required
- 3-5 years previous experience as Supply Chain Manager required
- Paint experience is a bonus
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of company products and logistics.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
**Experience**:
- supply chain: 1 year (preferred)
- supply chain management: 1 year (preferred)
