We have growing markets across the country and are looking for individuals to take ownership of client engagements and relationships, using business acumen and a consulting mindset, to provide assistance in the areas of remote work, business travelers, global payroll, and managed services.

**Job Description**:
As a Tax Manager, you will work as a part of a team of professionals helping to solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:

- Focus on building trusting relationships with Vialto teams and clients.
- Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills to provide value to our clients.
- Analyze complex ideas or proposals and develop a series of meaningful recommendations.
- Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder perspectives, to develop solutions and recommendations.
- Act to resolve issues as they arise.
- Review/signing of Canadian and/or US personal income tax returns and related forms/deliverables
- Develop perspectives on key global trends and their impact on the business and our clients.
- Train your teams and encourage ownership of their development.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven success and solid experience in expatriate taxation; knowledge of personal income tax in Canada and the US is essential.
- Strong customer service skills and experience in client facing roles.
- US professional accounting designation, such as CPA or Enrolled Agent, or willingness to obtain one.
- Knowledge of payroll and equity compensation.
- Demonstrated business development skills and enthusiasm to contribute to Vialto’s continued growth and success.
- An interest in improving digital and technology skills, learning new tools and adapting the way you work.
- A commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead teams.
- Proven track record in managing multiple assignments, clients and employees.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and a proactive attitude.
