**Position Summary**:
Énergère is currently looking for Business Development Manager who will join our growing team; dedicated to the development of various "design & built" projects. Our projects are related to the deployment of energy-efficient building performance technologies and thermal energy production to Quebec property owners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Initiate contacts, qualify potential customers and define business opportunities with them
- Meet potential customers and develop a relationship of trust with them
- Develop a strategic business plan
- Lead responses to requests for interest, qualifications and tenders
- Prepare and present case studies internally in order to invest in the requested market responses
- Maintain relations with existing customers to seize further business opportunities
- Plan and document progress and maintain the project funnel and pipeline aligned the annual business plan and objectives
- Participate in the development of annual business plans
- Evaluate strategic orientations to maintain a leading position in the market
- Effectively present the benefits and value of Energere regarding technical, financial and sustainable solutions that will impact the total cost of ownership of real estate owners
- Collaborate with the technical team in the preparation of offers as well as the necessary arrangements to meet the needs of customers
- Transmit all relevant information to the technical team for the preparation of tender documents

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or technical studies in building mechanics
- 10 years of relevant experience in strategic business development in the field of building electromechanics and energy efficiency
- Experience with a CRM
- Bilingual, French, English spoken and written
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications and Power Point
- Strong business acumen with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- In-depth knowledge of buildings, thermal power plants and electromechanics within a building
- Available for frequent travel
- Possess a motor vehicle and a valid driver's license.
