As an Inventory Parts Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the inventory of parts and supplies within our Leduc Shop you will ensure accurate tracking, storing, distributing, and counting of all materials. This role involves performing stock counts, setting up the warehouse area, and collaborating with various departments to maintain proper inventory levels.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate records within the inventory software of all parts and materials.
- Perform regular stock counts and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as necessary to prevent shortages or excess inventory stock.
**Parts Receiving and Inspection**:
- Unbox, receive and inspect deliveries of parts, ensuring the delivery matches the bill of lading and order placed.
- Verify the quantity and condition of parts received, and report discrepancies or damage to the appropriate personnel.
- Receive the parts in the inventory software system, adding them to inventory and appropriate work orders.
**Order Fulfillment**:
- Prepare and process parts for work orders based on internal requests through the inventory software system, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Ensure parts are properly labeled, stored, and readily accessible for use in the warehouse.
**Storage and Organization**:
- Store parts and supplies in an organized manner according to company guidelines.
- Ensure parts are clearly labeled and categorized to facilitate easy retrieval.
**Record Keeping and Reporting**:
- Maintain appropriate counts and ensuring the inventory system is current.
- Generate inventory reports as required by management.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work closely with Procurement and Maintenance, ensuring seamless work order transactions.
- Communicate any issues related to stock levels, orders, or delays to the appropriate personnel.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling parts and materials.
- Ensure that inventory management practices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements as well as processes and procedures.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in parts inventory management or parts clerk is required.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
- Proficient with inventory management software, knowledge of Cetaris is an asset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate to other team members.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reconciliation.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to operate a cargo lift.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time while performing inventory tasks.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
- Capable of operating a pallet jack and other inventory handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, dollies) as required for moving parts and supplies safely.
**Working Conditions**:
- This position is in a warehouse setting on the mezzanine level as well as accessing sea-cans and parts stored in the yard.
- This role may involve exposure to equipment, machinery, or other environmental factors requiring adherence to safety procedures.
