Payroll Administrator

**Position Summary**
The purpose of this job is to professionalize the payroll function to enable Stealth to continue to grow the business in Canada and the U.S. This position is responsible for assisting with payroll administration, benefits administration, and maintaining employee relations. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, along with excellent people skills and a high numerical aptitude.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Assist with end-to-end payroll processing on bi-weekly frequency including calculation of vacations, commissions, terminations, and other ad-hoc payments as required
- Conduct payroll reconciliation and submission for hourly and salary employees
- Assist with various routine and ad hoc reports related to Payroll and HR
- Support all internal and external Payroll related inquiries or requests
- Maintenance of payroll files and employee master records which include accurate and timely set up of all new hires, processing of change requests, and removal of terminated employees in payroll systems
- Investigate and correct any discrepancies in payroll information
- Assist with year-end payroll reconciliation and process
- Assist with the benefits enrollment process
- Assist with distribution and inventory management of uniforms and other company-branded items
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
**Qualifications**
- College and/or University education in Human Resources/Payroll
- 2+ years of experience related to payroll
- Experience working with Ceridian PowerPay and/or ADP
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel (vlookups & pivot tables)
- Basic administration experience is an asset
