**Post-doctoral Fellow, Associate Scientist, Scientist (1 year contract) - Biology**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with several cancer cell lines and establish key readouts for in vitro oncology assays
- Provide laboratory leadership with oncology and immunology projects.
- Initiate and design of key cellular assays and in vivo experiments that replicate human disease.
- Analyze and interpret data to develop new hypotheses.
- Monitor and evaluate completion of tasks and drive projects to decision points.
- Proactively investigate new or different technologies to improve the efficiency of assays
- Interpret and present data to scientific stakeholders.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, including the maintenance and good operation of equipment.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- PhD in Biology/Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/immunology with hands-on experience in cell culture.
- Skilled in flowcytometry and/or immunohistochemistry
- Post graduate work in immunology, cell/molecular biology preferred.
- Industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Direct experience developing either cell-based biological assays or biochemical assays.
- Ability to work on more than one project at a time.
- Technical proficiency, scientific creativity, independent thought, and ability to effectively collaborate with others with multiple scientific disciplines.
- Practical experience of the following would be considered an asset:

- Oncolytic viruses
- _ In vivo_ mouse oncology studies
- T-Cell experience
