**Job brief**

We are looking for a responsible Office Administrator to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to management, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

**Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant**
- Organize and maintain files and databases in a professional manner.
- Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed.
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Maintain and order office supplies.
- Receive invoices and review them for accuracy.
- Assist with Marketing Reps
- Process orders and arrange shipping.

**Qualifications for Administrative Assistant**
- Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an asset.
- 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Data entry experience.
- Working knowledge of general office equipment.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bridgewater, NS B0J 2E0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
