Regional Operations Manager

Winnipeg, Canada Tokyo Smoke Full time

**Key Responsibilities**
- Guide and support the store owner and the store management team in the effective execution of the Tokyo Smoke brand and selling system
- Share best practices across stores
- Liaison with partners to ensure stores are fully informed and up to date on any branded initiatives
- Proactively develop bench strength by identifying talent internally and externally to ensure future store growth opportunities have a strong leadership pipeline
- Provide training and guidance to store management on systems and SOP’s to ensure consistent execution
- Provide regular weekly business review with quarterly deeper dive reviews, providing commentary and plans on store execution and progress toward agreed goals, as well as action/gap plans to address opportunities
- Support with local marketing activities and initiative planning and execution
- Execute regular store standards audits
- Conduct 6/12 month management performance reviews and contribute to salary review discussion
- Regularly review store inventory position and identify opportunities
- Review all damages and inventory adjustments
- Follow up on POS transaction errors and cash register shortfall
- Review store schedules to ensure best possible coverage of floor and none customer facing activity, while minimizing labour expense

**Project Management Responsibilities**
- Manage store opening and transition projects as allocated
- Develop project specific workback schedule in co-ordination with all stakeholder
- Allocate and participate/lead all activities required to successfully open store on agreed timeline
- Liase with Construction services partners to maintain construction and store fit out schedules
- Lead the new store recruitment process and onboarding in co-ordination with HR and store owner stakeholders
- Co-ordinate the store employee training program
- Co-ordinate store set-up and merchandising in readiness for opening day
- Liase with marketing lead to establish Grand Opening plans

**Security and Compliance Responsibilites**
- Act as Loss Prevention manager to ensure store is effectively mitigating loss
- Review weekly inventory results and investigate where necessary
- Plan and conduct periodic and annual Full Store financial Inventories as assigned by company
- Conduct Loss Prevention regular audits
- Conduct investigatory interviews where required
- Ensure store adheres to AGCO guidelines in all aspects of operation and store teams are fully educated
- Be a brand ambassador for Tokyo Smoke
- Represent the brand when required for media or community events
- Any other reasonable duties as reasonably requested

**Key Qualifications**
- Degree in a business related program, or equivalent is preferred
- 3-5 years of proven project management experience
- Proven experience in multi-unit management and in business environments that operate in 1:1 sales environments
- Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency required, with exceptional Excel Capability
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and operational guidelines
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- An exceptional self-starter
- Highly organized, resourceful and proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Resolve problems by analyzing data and identifying problems
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong time management skills
- Strong attention to detail

This will be a full time working from home position with some travel requirements to attend meetings etc. within Winnipeg, MB.
