**KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A SURFACE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE**
KWE is currently looking for a Surface Customer Service Representative who is focused on delivering a world class customer service experience to our valued customers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for smooth transactions by using KWE’s vast worldwide network for a designated client base. **REQUIREMENTS**
- Formal Academic training in a related field of study from two-year college or technical school and six months to one
- year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
**DETAILS OF THE JOB**
- Coordinate and track transportation orders, ensuring timely pickup and delivery according to client requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the transportation process, working closely with internal teams and external partners to find effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, order details, and any relevant documentation.
- Generate reports as needed to provide insights into transportation performance and client satisfaction.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the customer service function, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Provide excellence in customer service and a first place of contact for client inquiries, concerns and complaints.
- Pay special attention to key assigned/troubled accounts.
- Coordinate special projects as assigned, coordinate and monitor movement of shipments on a daily basis.
- Ensure business relationships and services levels are maintained (customers and vendors).
- Respond to customer enquiries, and trouble shoot.
- Assist with surface logistics operation and sales, ensure accurate processing of paperwork to minimize errors.
