Under the direction of the Manager, Contract and Sourcing, this individual will coordinate and oversee the supplier qualification process, administer and maintain the contract management database, and provide contract administration support when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer the supplier qualification process which involves coordination with both internal and external contacts.
- Review all documentation submitted by suppliers to AltaLink for accuracy and completeness.
- Based on established criteria, review and assess risk for all suppliers and conduct the supplier qualification process accordingly.
- Monitor and ensure supplier documentation is valid (e.g., insurance certificate, WCB).
- Respond to suppliers’ inquiries regarding the supplier qualification process.
- Maintain the external supplier inquiry database, respond to external supplier inquiries, maintains the Field Services Source List, respond to supplier cyber security compromise inquiries, troubleshoot and support supplier registrations in the e-Procurement tool, inquire and gather data for supplier’s ownership structure.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to internal contacts as required.
- Maintain the contract management database and ensure accuracy of contract information.
- Provide reports and communicate with various departments regarding contract expiry and any other pertinent information.
- Provide input into the development of strategies for process and efficiency improvement.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- University degree or College diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related disciplines.
- Professional designation such as Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Proven ability/experience in the above noted responsibilities.
- Background in electrical utilities industry an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good computer skills including experience with SAP and ComplyWorks an asset.
- Results oriented with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to interface with team. members and customers to promote positive outcomes.
- Proven track record of good attendance and performance.
