**Job Summary**:
The HR Co-ordinator provides support to the Director of Operations in the delivery of human resources services and programs to employees and supervisors to ensure a positive employee experience. This role is both administrative and hands-on in supporting the day-to-day functions of the HR program. The primary duties include:
**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment and onboarding responsibilities;
- Scheduling Orientation sessions;
- Scheduling of 3-month performance reviews, annual reviews, with supervisor;
- Maintaining SharePoint libraries, document management and collaboration with Director of Operations to update/store documentation;
- Managing HRIS Time & Attendance re vacation, sick leave, unpaid leave;
- Assisting in the implementation of a new HRIS;
- Sending tickets to IT Support to create accounts;
- Assisting in the drafting and reviewing of HR company policies and procedures;
- Performing Offboarding procedures as required;
- Preparing termination and severance letters in partnership with the Director of Operations;
- Assisting in the review of annual and legislative policies with staff and maintaining electronic signature acknowledgements;
- Assisting with routine tasks required to administer human resource programs including but not limited to payroll, benefits, and leave, talent management; and training and development;
- First point of contact regarding employment-related inquiries from employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate management staff;
- Maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations;
- Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law;
- Spearheading the Social Committee and create a highly engaged remote work culture;
- Providing clerical and other support within other departments;
- Performing other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ADP and other payroll systems, SharePoint
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.

**Education and Experience**:

- University Degree/College Diploma, in Human Resources or related field required.
- At least 2 years of relevant human resources management experience
- Proficiency working with an HRIS including data entry, maintenance, tracking and generating reports is strongly preferred.
