**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Treasury, as the Treasury Coordinator, you will own the cash management function here at Amica. In this newly designed role, you will manage the day-to-day treasury duties of the finance department executed by the Accounting and Payment Specialist. You will also play a critical role monitoring and enforcing adherence to our treasury controls and develop process improvements to enhance the treasury function. To be successful in this role, you are self-motivated, deadline driven, and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

**What you will be doing**

**Treasury**:

- Own the Company’s cash management function
- Review daily cash position reports and coordinate account transfers and wires as required
- Coordinate the settlement of monthly intercompany transactions, distributions, and rent payments
- Coordinate new bank account openings and closures as required
- Drive continuous process improvements through financial data tools and system automation
- Maintain cash forecasts to ensure efficient available liquidity and prevention of overdraft balances
- Maintain the EFT vendor information database
- Maintain and manage treasury files, bank records, and Company bank account listing
- Maintain and manage CRA records, including coordinating the creation of new CRA business accounts and facilitating inquiries from the CRA on tax matters
- Oversee the filing of GST, HST returns on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis for all our companies
- Coordinate annual tax and compliance filings as required
- Manage the Company’s corporate purchasing card database
- Support the Company’s debt compliance through managing Bank quarterly information requirements

**Internal Controls**
- Monitor and enforce adherence to Company Treasury controls and policies
- Assist with external audit requests

**Accounting and Finance**
- Oversee the daily cash accounting records, including reviewing and approving journal entries

**What we’re looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with focus on Accounting / Business
- Minimum 4 years in a Finance/Accounting role
- Ability to take ownership over tasks and lead others
