We are happy to announce that we have an exciting new opportunity for a Spa/Wellness Manager for elmspa. The Manager will be responsible for managing this beautiful Zen-inspired boutique hybrid spa and wellness center located in The Church & Wellesley Village.

elmspa is unique in its design and feeling, which is wonderful not only for our guests to de-stress, relax, and revitalize, but for our team to enjoy a great work environment. With 7 treatment rooms,4 esthetics bays, sauna, steam room and garden terrace area, elmspa approaches health and well-being holistically, with a Feng Shui space encouraging harmony, relaxation, and wellness.

**Position Summary**:

- In this exciting role you will work collaboratively with all departments in the greater holding of the Elmwood Spa Group, like Spa Services, Guest Services and Marketing to achieve budgetary goals and adhere to service standards.
- Work to develop annual budgets.
- Seek out all opportunities to improve Revenues by introducing new services, increasing sales, managing staffing levels.
- Ensure an end-to-end guest experience, develop and train staff to deliver a premium experience to our spa guests.
- Organize events at the spa, for promotion and development of guest loyalty.
- Work with marketing to develop and properly execute promotional plans. Be active on social media representing the spa.
- Understands the importance of and promotes the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Other duties include - managing all aspects of spa operations from bookings to linens, retail, loyalty program and more.

Skills/Qualifications/Education
- A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, preferably in the spa or hospitality industry.
- Post-secondary education in Hospitality and Tourism or equivalent
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to focus on maximizing the bottom line.
- Have an empowering, supportive, participatory, and open supervisory style, as well as function well in a team environment with a positive outlook toward work in general.
- Be highly organized, detail orientated, have the ability to prioritize, and be able to work independently.
- Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, listening, writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively deal with stress and effectively prioritize and adapt to a fast paced, multi-faceted environment with significant ongoing changes to its dynamics.
- Be a team-oriented individual with a strong customer service focus.
- Must have good computer skills preferably in Word MS Office
- Knowledge of Spa Booking Systems is an asset.
- Must possess solid cash management skills.
