We are currently looking for a **Logistics Coordinator **to join our team

**What you can expect in this role**:
The** Logistics Coordinator **is responsible for managing global transportation and shipping operations and all documentation related to the procurement, transport, and disposal of equipment related to our overall business operations. The main function of this position is to ensure effective coordination between our suppliers and the company, guaranteeing smooth deliveries and compliance with documentation requirements.

**More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities**:

- **Supplier Management**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, ensuring timely and quality deliveries.
- **Transport Monitoring**: Organize and oversee the transportation of equipment from suppliers to our facilities worldwide, monitoring timelines and quickly resolving any issues that arise.
- **Logistics Documentation**: Manage all documentation related to transportation, including purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- **Price Requests**: Taking ownership of the complete process of requesting transport quotes for local and international shipments.
- Manage and ensure follow-up on requests for quotes for oversized transportation.
- **Data Entry**: Maintain master tracking files to ensure all transportation data is accurately recorded.
- **Document Management**: Create and organize files to place necessary documents systematically.
- **Billing**: Oversee the invoicing process for transportation services, ensuring all charges are accurate and timely. - Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to synchronize material needs with scheduled deliveries and optimize logistics operations.
- **Performance Tracking**: Analyze performance indicators of carriers and suppliers, proposing improvements to ensure smooth operations.
- **Reporting**: Prepare regular reports on the status of deliveries and documentation, providing strategic recommendations to enhance logistics processes.
- Act as a culture ambassador by living Bitfarms’ values.
- All other related tasks.

**Here's the profile we're looking for**:

- Undergraduate or college degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in international logistics or transportation management, preferably in a technological, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and logistics tracking tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a strong sense of organization.
- Ability to evaluate logistics performance and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
- French and English at a bilingual level is a must.
