Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Fertilizer Commercial Supervisor on a permanent full-time basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, SK.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:
You will continuously monitor Global and North American fertilizer markets for price variances and purchase opportunities to provide input toward procurement strategies and facilitate market share and/or margin increases. You will manage the Fertilizer Specialists and be responsible for ensuring that the Fertilizer Merchants, Fertilizer Specialists, and Fertilizer Terminal Coordinators consistently follow processes/procedures and have the proper knowledge regarding products and initiatives.

You will take a lead role within the Fertilizer Team:

- You will monitor workflow of the Fertilizer Team to execute streamlining activities with the intention of reducing redundancies and maximizing team efficiencies. This will involve working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the long-term vision of system automation from supplier through FCL and ultimately into our local Co-op’s point of sale system.
- You will support the Senior Manager, Fertilizer with stock purchases.
- You will generate and distribute key indicator reports including the Daily Fertilizer Position Report and monitor, report and communicate appropriate actions to replenish inventory to meet sales commitments to local Co-ops.
- You will develop and update fertilizer reporting models to identify buying opportunities on an ongoing basis for the FCL Procurement Team and local Co-ops, based on analysis of global, North American, and Western Canadian fertilizer prices and logistics costs. This will involve converting macro/global information into data useful for the Senior Manager. Fertilizer, Fertilizer Merchants, and local Co-ops to inform decisions regarding budget, marketing, etc.
- You will be responsible for the hire/fire, training, professional development and performance management of the Fertilizer Specialist.
- You will also watch workflow to manage in-season ‘on-call’ schedules and allocate workflow so that it’s spread equally amongst the group.
- You will engage with Ag Solutions Zone employees to answer any questions and ensure they are aware of the Fertilizer strategy and maintain alignment within the business unit.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Sales & Marketing and:

- You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Agriculture.
- You have a minimum of 6 - 9 years of relevant experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Fertilizer industry experience is considered an asset.
