Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, Pelican International is looking for its next Accounting Receivable Technician.

YOUR DAY IN THIS POSITION:
Participate in the optimization of accounts receivable collections:

- Prepare deposit analysis files ;
- Prepare an analysis file for monitoring customer deductions ;
- Participate in month-end procedures related to receivables ;
- Participate in accounts receivable collection and payment deduction procedures ;
- Support receivables department ;
- Filing of documentation.

Participate in the preparation of financial statements:

- Perform various accounting analyses of balance sheet and income statement items ;
- Help prepare and record entries for expense accounts, credit cards and other items ;
- Support the accounting department ;
- Participate in process improvement ;
- Filing of documentation.

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES, YOU ARE THE PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have a DEP or DEC in Accounting - Finance or any equivalent qualification and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in receivables. You have an excellent command of Excel, and a strong aptitude for using/learning various IT tools (analysis tools, ERP, etc.).

You are also very comfortable with different computer systems. You have good analytical skills and an eye for detail. You are recognized for your rigor, precision and autonomy. You are customer-oriented. To meet the different needs of internal and external customers, you are fluent in French and English (mainly written).
