Boom Truck Operator

Reporting to the truck dispatcher, the Boom Truck Operator is responsible for effectively and safely rig and move a variety of items or equipment as directed by the truck dispatcher.

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to the equipment
- Comply with safety regulations and precautionary measures while operating the Boom Truck - protects self and others by following work safe procedures
- Load and unloads a variety of items
- Evaluate and assess the site conditions and set-up the truck appropriately
- A minimum of **Crane Operator 3 License**:

- A minimum of a **Class 3 license**

**Responsibilities**:

- Operation and Maintenance of Boom Truck up to 20 ton
- Perform rigging work and direct others in the same
- Provide guidance and direction to a crew engaged in similar work
- Maintain and operate man basket & truck mounted telescopic boom
- Perform minor repairs and lubrication
- Perform other duties as required
- Ability to secure load for transport between sites
