Harlund Industries is looking for an individual willing and able to learn, and take on a variety of responsibilities for the Purchasing and Sales Administration team. This is a full-time permanent position.

As a Purchasing and Sales Administrator, you will showcase your excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with staff, vendors, and customers alike.

**Responsibilities**:

- Placement of Harlund PO for stocked inventory items.
- Placement of Harlund PO for items not stocked
- Shipment tracking
- Capital equipment order management
- Capital equipment order placement
- Aid in Purchase order and sales order matching - shipping costs on drop shipments
- Enter drop ship sales orders for customers, place drop ship purchase order to supplier (includes software orders for bartender)
- Provide updated pricing on parts to order desk or to end users
- Able to find information in our accounting system related to historical or current sales & purchasing data.
- CRM Maximizer - data entry and file communications with customers and suppliers
- Weekly meeting virtual invites (Telus Business Connect), host meeting, and responsible for recording meeting minutes.
- Answer main phone, direct calls & provide basic company info to whomever calls
- Order items required for office (paper, pens, cleaning supplies, coffee etc.)

**Required Qualifications**:

- Microsoft office suite (Heavy emphasis on excel, outlook, word)
- Accurate and fast data entry
- Technical skills using various computer programs and inventory/accounting software
- Strong interpersonal, communication, computing, and organization skills required.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in an office environment, purchasing, administration is considered an asset.
- Experience with shipping terminology and cross-country shipping considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or similar program preferential.
