**Job Description**:
A key goal in Global IT is successful collaboration with IKO key business leads and stakeholders to deliver on prioritized corporate initiatives. We strive to improve our processes regularly; utilizing new technologies, leading practices and experiences for our people.
Position Summary:
The IKO Global IT department is looking for a passionate, inquisitive, detail oriented and highly customer focused Salesforce Training Lead to join our Salesforce Global Center of Excellence (COE). Our COE supports and enables the growing needs of our user community.
Experience in development, delivery, evaluation and maintenance of a comprehensive training curriculum that enables users and drives adoption is a key requirement.
The Training Lead will be the primary contact for Salesforce training, responsible for making suggestions and recommendations on the continuous improvements for user training and process. This role supports the processes associated with user adoption of Salesforce including train-the-trainer, onboarding, facilitation and ownership of the training programs.
This position has a global scope that will establish a sustainable, engaging training program within the IKO Salesforce platform using the full feature set available on the platform.
The Training Lead should be a trailblazer at heart, passionate about the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the vision of an established business with an eye to growth and enablement through technology.
The role will be a key advocate within IKO driving the value Salesforce delivers to the organization. This will be a full time position. Reports to Salesforce Platform Manager, IT.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and administer the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum by providing end-to-end learning solutions including assessment, design, development, delivery, measurement and management of training programs- Incorporate blended learning and adult learning principles to select the appropriate instructional mediums, including self-led programs, instructor-led programs, e-learning and classroom settings.- Champion Salesforce platform adoption and enablement within the organization- Partner with Stakeholders to identify new training programs and improve existing assets.- Take an innovative, engaging approach to instructional design anchored in established methodologies- Manages assigned projects using effective project management techniques, including managing stakeholders, logistics, communication and administration.- Mentor and collaborate with Super Users to develop training confidence and expertise within the business user communities.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and practical experience- Three+ years’ experience in the development and delivery of adult learning and training- Practical experience of the Salesforce platform (Classic and Lightning) that includes leveraging Trailhead- Inventive capacity to leverage vendor resources to increase adoption and create an engaging training program- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail- Ability to work multiple projects at once with strong organizational and time management skills- Capable of building strong partnerships with stakeholders at varying levels of the organization- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Experience in Vyond, Camtasia and other animated and screen video creation
Additional Skills-
- Formal Training in Adult Education an asset. Example Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) or Certified Training Practitioner (CTP)- Foster an open/partnering mentality to help improve overall team performance- Curious and actively inquisitive about the outside world and learning about new ideas for improvement
