**Job Summary**:
The Quality Assurance Supervisor will facilitate efficient production operations by planning, leading, and implementing quality assurance (QA) programs. ICE Western Sales requires a dedicated and experienced individual to fulfill the role of Quality Assurance Supervisor. QA Supervisor is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet set standards of quality, reliability and performance.

**_ Supervisory Responsibilities:_**
- Oversees the daily quality control workflow/activities of all departments involved in the manufacturing process.
- Monitoring the conformance of all departments to policies and procedures as they affect the quality of the product and services or conformance to the specified requirements.

**_Duties/Responsibilities:_**
- Work with supervisors of various departments to fill in and complete quality control sheets applicable to that specific step in the manufacturing process.
- Responsible for quality systems development.
- Evaluates production units, ensuring that materials and products meet design and acceptable quality / integrity standards.
- The preparation of a documented Quality Policy Manual, Quality System procedures, instructions, and forms in accordance with the requirements of the company’s stated quality policy.
- The effective implementation of the documented Quality Assurance Manual, procedures and instructions.
- Facilitates communication among production departments and design department to resolve any problems identified.
- Drafts and maintains logs, records, and other documentation of testing procedures, methodologies, and criteria.
- Maintains records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to quality control.
- Analyzes quality control test results and offers feedback and interpretations of those results to production management or staff.
- Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing and QA processes.
- Monitors and periodically reports on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and underlying causes of defects in products or processes.
- Ensuring dimensional data meets associated drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring all associated paperwork (test forms, inspection forms, drawings) is completed and accurate.
- Maintaining company’s testing equipment, ensuring all equipment is tracked and calibrations current. Coordinate external calibration requirements.
- Ceases production when serious product defects or risks arise.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with local and global standards of production.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

**_ Education and Experience:_**
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in related industrial, scientific, or business field required;
- 3 years proven experience in quality control management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

**_Physical Requirements: _**
- Periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Periods of standing and actively move around production.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
