Warehouse Operations Manager

**Purpose of Position**:
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for all day-to-day operations related to the warehouse. This position is accountable for overall financial results, efficiencies and output, and overall performance of the warehouse and executing company goals, mission, and values.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Oversee and direct all warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic objectives.
- Drive performance excellence by managing operational efficiency and overall warehouse productivity.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings to address operational challenges, proactively developing solutions that support organizational growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, providing strategic input and resolving complex issues to ensure high levels of service.
- Manage the end-to-end warehouse workflow, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound processes, while optimizing for cost and efficiency.
- Authorize and oversee all purchase orders, including comprehensive review of Toyota POs and future forecasting to maintain inventory alignment.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and financial management by monitoring customer billing, and reviewing budget and cost structures for all warehouse programs.
- Analyze program costs and provide strategic recommendations for improvements to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
- Lead the creation of annual budgets, including the development and presentation of financial performance reports to senior leadership.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, regularly reporting to senior management on operational performance and budget alignment.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability by leading performance reviews, coaching team members, and maintaining high employee morale.
- Champion a safe and compliant workplace by ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Provide strategic direction for the development of new programs, including costing, quoting, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with senior management on long-term operational strategies, growth opportunities, and resource optimizations.
**Qualifications**:
- Post-Secondary education in Supply Chain & Logistics preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience.

**Supervision**:
This position reports to the Regional Operations Manager, Logistics. The immediate supervisor and/or department leader periodically checks assignments for progress. This position supervises both direct and indirect reports and is responsible for being a coach, mentor and giving technical and functional guidance to staff. This role is also responsible for developing a departmental roadmap.
**Decision Making and Judgment**:
**Subject to functional policies and goals, and to managerial direction of a general nature, the **incumbent is free to determine the general results. It is up to the incumbent to draw on available resources to accomplish the end result.**:
**Impact of Errors**:
Errors in program costing or budgeting could result in substantial financial losses. Overestimating or underestimating costs can lead to profitability issues, reduced margins, or even loss-making operations. Errors in overseeing the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse could create supply chain bottlenecks. This could lead to delays in deliveries, missed deadlines, and a breakdown in operational efficiency, affecting customer satisfaction. Poor management of customer calls, meetings, or relationships could result in missed opportunities to address issues, leading to reduced customer trust and satisfaction. This could lead to contract cancellations or the loss of important clients.
