Take on a key role as Maintenance Supervisor with Maple Leaf Foods, focused on maximizing equipment uptime and leading a skilled maintenance team. This hands-on position emphasizes your expertise in maintenance management. In this role, you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, training staff, and ensuring all tasks meet safety and quality standards. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency and sustainability of our food production processes in a unionized environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the maintenance team to excellence
- Monitor and supervise repair work conducted by team members
- Generate necessary work orders and prioritize effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with identifying root causes of equipment failures
- 3 to 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and best maintenance practices
- Electro-mechanical college background or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with CMMS and SAP-PM systems
- Strong record in troubleshooting maintenance issues
